Parents Together is a local organization founded in 1979 to
increase parental awareness and understanding of issues facing families.
Parents Together publishes two newsletters, Parents Together
Primer and Parents Together, which provide
thoughtful articles by experts on subjects of interest to parents.
Schools, both public and private, send representatives to town-wide
meetings on a regular basis and are encouraged to sponsor workshops
and lectures on parenting issues.
The Brunswick and Greenwich
Academy Parents Together Committees, with the support and guidance
of school administrators, have chosen speakers who are nationally
recognized in their fields to address current topics of interest.
All parents are encouraged to attend.
In addition, Parents Together serves
as a resource and support to parents in Greenwich through the production
of its video series, Parents, Let's Talk and the
publication of Party Guidelines.
