Greenwich Academy student named a Finalist in the 2008 Achievement Scholarship competition

GREENWICH ACADEMY (February 19, 2008) Greenwich Academy senior Jordan Taylor was named a finalist in the 44th annual Achievement Scholarship® competition by the National Achievement Scholarship Program. The program, conducted by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, recognizes scholastically talented Black American high school seniors and provides scholarships. Jordan was chosen from the more than 140,000 high school juniors who requested consideration in the 2008 program when they took the 2006 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®). The finalists are chosen on the basis of their abilities, accomplishments and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
