Letters sent in appreciation for courage

In the spirit of the season, Greenwich Academy students and faculty wrote over 200 holiday notes to our soldiers overseas. Organized by community service volunteers, the letters with words of genuine thanks and encouragement will be sent to Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and shipped with stockings filled with items such as DVDs, snacks, toiletries and books to the 101st Airborne Division 3-187 Infantry Battalion serving in Iraq.
