Greenwich Academy invited to dance at STARS OF TOMORROW...GIVING BACK TODAY invitational

The Greenwich Academy Dance Corps will perform in the 2007 Dancers Responding to AIDS and the Capezio sponsored Stars of Tomorrow…giving back today, an invitational benefit for Dancers Responding to AIDS. The performance will be held on January 28, at 5 PM, in the Concert Hall at Purchase College, 735 Anderson Hill Road, Purchase, New York. The Greenwich Academy Dance Corps participated in this benefit in 2005. "This is a great opportunity for the students to help the community of dancers, of which they are a part, and we are thrilled to be invited to perform in this event again, along with many other local student and professional dance companies including the Purchase Dance Corps," said Upper School Dance Coordinator Marcia Brooks. The Greenwich Academy students will perform two pieces: “Fallen in Fallujah," which is choreographed by Dance Corps president Olivia Hardinge and “Can’t Stop…Won’t Stop,” which is choreographed by Dance Corps vice president Cristine Candland.

The concert will benefit Dancers Responding to AIDS which is a fund-raising program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA), the nation's leading industry-based AIDS fund-raising and grant-making organization.
