Latino Songs and Stories
Posted: March 3, 2006

On March 1, 2006, the Greenwich Academy Parents Association invited storyteller, singer and writer Felix Pitre to Young Assembly Hall for a program of stories, puppetry and songs about the Latino culture. In this humorous workshop, Pitre spiced up the folktale from his book Juan Bobo and the Pig with words in Spanish, and sang songs from his native Puerto Rico, even using American sign language. The audience of Lower School students enjoyed participating in this interactive experience.
