Math is Magic

In the afternoon of January 25, the Lower School students oohed, aahed and laughed as they did math together with Mr. Bradley Fields, who returned to Greenwich Academy to perform MatheMagic. The show used magic and story telling to explain mathematics concepts such as numbers, fractions, geometric forms and arithmetic. The girls also learned about how and why the calendar and abacus were invented. The performance was a brilliant combination of entertainment and education. Mr. Fields produced this show to help young students understand “math is magic”. Greenwich Academy Parents Association sponsored his performance at the Young Assembly Hall.
