Washington, DC -- The Madrigal Singers were thrilled to receive an invitation to sing at The White House on December 10 for a private reception hosted by First Lady Laura Bush. The reception was held for White House volunteers where the singers performed two sets--one in the foyer and one in the East Room. The students were also treated to a tour of the beautifully decorated rooms as well as a luncheon in the East Room following their performance. Head of School Molly H. King and Upper School Head Sharon Dietzel (with husband Al Dietzel) were present to hear the Madrigals.
